Develop a new
school of thought.

Passionate about k-12
education?

Have you thought of developing a podcast, YouTube series, newsletter, or TikTok/Instagram page about how to improve our schools?

If so, The Branch Education Fellowship may be right for you. It’s a part-time program for rising leaders within the PreK-12 advocacy space. Fellows will work with The Branch to develop their voice and produce consistent content, which could include social video, written commentary, and/or audio content.

WHO WE ARE

You are passionate about PreK-12 practice and/or policy.

That could mean experience working in schools, in youth development roles, or in educational-support organizations. You may have a record of public commentary or a compelling life story within the PreK-12 system.

You’re a visionary.

You have a clear sense of what you want to communicate about kids and education.

You get things done.

You have a track record of delivering results.

You believe all kids deserve a great school.

That means you believe “great” can and should be measured, and that families should be able to choose the best educational options for their children.

You have the time.

Fellows must commit 8-10 hours a week to developing education-focused content.

the program

Fellows will be given a $6000 stipend and training for the remote six-month program. Fellows with exceptionally promising ideas and execution will be eligible for additional funding to grow and continue their project.
